What mammal is helpful for insect control, pollination, & seed dispersal?

OUR FOCUS THIS YEAR IS BATS

Bats provide so much good for the earth yet they are threatened in many ways. They are misunderstood and feared leading to not being protected by people. They suffer from habitat loss and disease. Our project will demonstrate how dangerous wind turbines are for bats and what safer alternatives can be made available.

VOLUNTEERING AT THE LUBEE BAT FESTIVAL

Saturday, October 22, 2016

Since our project is about bats, we could not pass up the opportunity to volunteer at this festival. Over 5,000 people attended last year so what a great place to set up our poster about why we love bats. Our team played educational games, made a bat craft, & did a fantastic job speaking up to everyone! We definitely showed our Core Values too, especially working as a team, sharing our experiences, and having FUN!
